Choosing A Romantic Celtic Wedding Ring Design as a Couples Ring

At The Irish Jewelry Company matching Celtic wedding bands, in our opinion, are the ideal option when it comes to selecting a romantic wedding ring or couples ring to signify the one-of-a-kind bond you and your spouse have.

Couples rings are essentially promise or wedding bands. A couples ring serves as a pre-engagement ring or promise ring and has a variety of symbolic meanings. A couples ring generally signifies a promise to a monogamous relationship and a trustworthy partnership, as well as a first step toward eventual engagement. They are rings that coordinate or complement one another and are suitable for every member of the relationship. Traditional Couple rings are often available in a wide variety of sizes and widths. Couples’ rings are a significant symbol of devotion. Whether you pick matching rings or mix and match styles, The Irish Jewelry Company’s range of rings for couples easily reflects your love.

A Claddagh Wedding Ring Is a Symbol of Everlasting Love.

Claddagh wedding rings, also known as Hands and Heart rings or Clasped Hand rings, are the most immediately identifiable of all Celtic wedding bands.

Beginning in the mid-1600s in Ireland, the Claddagh ring has been worn as a sign of love, friendship, and loyalty. Choosing a Claddagh wedding ring will always ensure that, in addition to being a beautiful piece of jewelry, the ring will also always serve as a conversation piece for anyone who is aware of their Celtic or Irish heritage! Every Claddagh wedding ring has the symbol of a heart to signify love, hands to signify friendship, and a crown to signify loyalty.

The Celtic Lovers Knot Wedding Ring

The Celtic Love Knot, also known as the Anam Cara Knot (derived from the Irish words for “soul friend,” according to Celtic knowledge), is a relatively recent addition to the family of Celtic knots. Two Celtic knot hearts are entwined to make one heart. This is a contemporary interpretation of the classic Celtic knot.

  1. I am obsessed with the Claddagh ring!! I’ve had several varieties over the years, but my favorite was the one I bought when I was actually IN Ireland!! Now, I hadn’t heard of a couples Celtic ring, but even though my hubby and I have been together for over 7 years, that sounds like it would make a great Christmas gift, or even Valentine’s day gift!
